Daan Huttinga is a School of arts graduate with a major in Audiovisual Media and specialization in cinematography.
Daan is both technical and creative and able to elevate a director’s vision, introducing out of the box ideas and concepts to set the scene. Daan really thinks about every aspect to create a visual world around a script. According to Daan it’s his passion for graphic design that really makes his imagery tick: “Graphic design is about balance and so is film. Every element, such as colors and lighting, must be well thought out to enhance the experience of the viewer. I am fascinated by creating an atmosphere that suits the brand or story best.”
As a classic filmmaker at heart, Daan prefers to shoot analogue whenever possible.
